
Training
At Roding Valley Tri, we welcome everyone regardless of ability or experience, and our members include all levels from complete beginners to podium-chasers and GB age groupers. Not all members train in all three disciplines. We have members who swim and bike, bike and run, swim and run and everything in between.
We organise all of our sessions so that you can train at your own level and nobody is left behind. As well as qualified coaches (who are all volunteers within the club), you’ll find an incredibly friendly and supportive atmosphere.
Whatever your goals - running your first 5km, finishing your first triathlon, simply getting a bit fitter, meeting new friends, achieving that Ironman PB, winning your AG or racing for your country - Roding Valley Tri is there to help. And you’ll have a lot of fun in the process!

RVT use software called Spond to manage training and numbers. This can be downloaded free as an app or you can use your browser. Only RVT members will have their Spond request accepted and once verified you can get notifications about training, events etc via Spond.
